I have created a blog for the first time and I am BEYOND excited about it! Today, December 20th, is exactly one month out from me and mom getting in the car and taking a road trip to Orlando, Florida. This isn't just for fun though, it is for my internship with Disney World next semester! I found out just over a month ago that I got the internship and have been panicking (in a good-way ish) ever since.
I will be in Orlando from January 20- May 18 and won't find out until I get there what exactly I will be doing. I know that I will be working with QSFB (quick service food and beverage), guest service/restaurants but who knows the type of work I will be doing until I get there! I will have to go through an extensive amount of training and education to adopt the Disney Way.
I was thinking of a good title for my all of my blog posts for the next few months and all that came to mind was Magic. I have two reasons for this... 1) The Magic Kingdom is obviously a key symbol for Disney World and 2) I put the word Magic in many different languages because I think it represents the different people from all over the world I am going to meet, learn and grow from throughout this experience.
So since today is exactly one month away from my departure... I can only think about all the things I have to do before I can leave. This includes taking a class, packing, spending quality time with friends and family and so much more! I am also an AVID scrap-booker and have a whole semester to scrapbook for from my sophomore year at the University of Oklahoma!
I am so excited for Christmas and all the family time that is yet to come! I love being home, but miss all my Norman friends so so much!
