The end has come in the Magic Kingdom!

HELLO party people! So I realize 100% that I haven't blogged since February. This is terrible of me and I am BEYOND sorry. I am also sorry because I really enjoy blogging! BUT let me tell ya... things got reallllllllllll crazy here in Magicland. I wasn't hardly able to sleep much less type! Plus school got busy, I had papers to write and more of Florida to see! So I am from the very bottom of my heart... SORRY.
Let me give you a little preview of my last 2 months. First of all I can't even believe that I am saying that. 2 months!? TWO MONTHS!? Where in the world does time go? I just got here.. 4 months ago! And now I am 7 days away from moving out of my apartment and back to the good ol state of Texas.

If you look up, this is the face you can imagine me making while thinking about how crazy wonderful my adventure has been here. I am up in the air and can barely control myself kind of happy! I have learned so much about the corporate side of a large entertainment industry, experienced SO much from guests, managers, peers, etc.,  met many many people from all over the world, made lasting friendships, tried all different kinds of seafood AND decided I will think hard when presented with the opportunity to live with 5 other girls. That was a lot of girls, a lot of hair but a whole lot of fun.
So lets venture back to the end of February. Me and goofy had a fling... but he ended it. He said he needed someone with bigger ears and I was crushed. My friends and I went to Downtown Orlando one night (to get over the break-up) and to experience Florida nightlife! It was a blast! Dancing and a lot of craziness! Then I was very excited to hear that FC Dallas was coming to town to play at ESPC Wide World of Sports. Then played Toronto. It was fun to represent my hometown while here in Orlando! Plus I love love love soccer. Goodness gracious those boys were all kinds of good looking.
But then one of the most exciting parts of the semester came... my FAMILY WAS HERE! I got to spend a whole week exploring Disney with my family. My sister and mom hadn't been here since they were 5 ish and Gordo hadn't seen it at all! We started the week off at Universal. Erin had never seen Harry Potter World so she was SUPER excited about that. We waited in line for 2 hours to ride the virtual reality simulation and it was so worth it.
Throughout the week we went to Cirque Du Soleil: La Nouba, Universal Studios, Narcossees at the Grand Floridian Resort, ALL four of the parks and also we went on the Keys to the Kingdom Tour of the Magic Kingdom. That was really interesting. We had such a great time! The last day we went out by the beach the Contemporary Resort and got some sweet sweet sun. I think my family enjoyed it... I know I did!
Shortly after my family left... Austin got here! It was a very excited couple of weeks!
Wecelebrated his birthday while he was here too! The big 2-0. We visited Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios for all the coolest rides. But to start of our fun little vaca we had to hit Ghiradelli. We just can't resist the sweets. He stayed at Disney Caribbean Beach and liked it! It was so great to see him.

Then came time for a very fun day..  a Disney VoluntEAR day! My co-workers and I from the Electric Umbrella had a team at the Junior Achievement Bowl-a-thon and raised money for the organization. It was a very exciting day. Also with my fellow Electric Umbrella Cast Members was one of my favorite events... Relay for Life. We had a booth set up to paint faces and enjoyed a long night of raising money and walking towards the cure for cancer. Such a touching night. I am glad I was able to find a group of friends in and out of work to attend these with.
Alright another exciting time was when my SWEET AND BEAUTIFUL LITTLE CAME TO VISIT! She was in Florida with her family and made her way to the Kingdom to come see me! We had such a good day together. It was great catch up time. I've missed her!!!
OH! Did I mention I was moved to a different location during Spring Break for 3 weeks!? I looked at my schedule one week, it looked much different and then I realized I was moving parks! I worked all throughout Liberty Square in the Magic Kingdom. I definitely had a good time swirling that dress around all day. It was a change of pace from my normal routine-that's for sure.
Before I knew it... EASTER was here! I gave up chocolate for lent and that didn't work our for very long. I am terrible and I know it. But I just can't resist. My friends Kendra, Christy and I went to a Sunrise Service at Sea World. It was out of this world beautiful! I had to work that day too! That was unfortunate.. but I was able to get off earlier and help prepare a huge Easter feast for my roommates and friends. We were all hurting not being able to be with our families during such a special holiday. So we just recreated our Easter memories to share with one another.
Now we have realized that time is coming to an end here in Florida! Kendra, Danielle, Christy and I headed to Key Largo for a long weekend! What a beautiful island! Although it rained a lot of the time, we were able to stay at a beautiful resort, try Hogfish, eat coconut shrimp, conch and see pretty pretty fishies! The water was gorgeous. It was a great weekend away! I love love love these girls.
This past week was a real treat as well! Not only did I graduate from the Disney College Program, but I also was able to hang out with some of my favorite kiddos! Wow what a blast we had! Here we are my favorite show.. Monsters Inc Laugh Floor!
So now with less than one week left in Orlando and only 6 days of work, I am in disbelief that it went so fast. I remember packing, making my way into Florida, meeting my roommates and finding out my assignment. I have finished my semester of school and have 6 days left until I can say I completed a semester working for Disney! We had such a great time yesterday celebrating with other program members that we MADE it!

I will be home May 20th and will begin working for Stonebridge United Methodist Church as the Youth Intern. I couldn't be more thrilled. We have an amazing summer planned and I couldn't feel more blessed to be a part of it. Summer is here!
Thank you everyone for your love and support throughout my spontaneous journey to the wonderful world of Disney. Couldn't do it without you!
